Write a Letter to this Company

Animals are an important part of my life, but after an incident regarding overall experience, I felt compelled to write and let you know how angry I am. The store I'm referring to is Temple Texas.

Your staff is uninformed rude and negligent when it comes to the care of your pets and customers for that matter.

After this, I seriously doubt whether I would recommend your company to other pet owners. You can be sure that I will never purchase your products again.

Here's what I think you should do to fix this problem: TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I hope you can respond soon to this very concerned pet owner.

I am a Petco employee, and I know exactly how you feel. I have been
working at petco for a little over six months and not once have I
taken a course on how to take care of animals. Not only that, we are
not even motivated by the management into taking any training at all.
I almost never work with the animals and as a result, I try to avoid
customers because I really cannot answer your question, we can only
say "I don't know" so many times. That or we pretend we know what we
are talking about when we really don't. To all those who shop at
petco, take any advice from the employees with a grain of salt. I
can't for all petcos, but the one I work as is baaaaad. The training
videos that they do have are more commercial than an actual training
video. In fact, after watching one of the ten minute videos, I felt
that I knew even less than I did before. I agree completely, TRAIN THE
EMPLOYEES. The company is so cheap that they don't want to take the
time (and money involved) into training their employees and the
employees will certainly not watch any training videos on their own
time (we should get paid for getting trained!!). Anyway, this is the
reality of what happens in petco, and most other retail places that
you happen to shop at!
