Take the dyes and nutrasweet out of the chewable Benadryl, please!

Dear Makers of Benadryl,
Hello and thank you for making the most used medicinal product in my home! My kids suffer from various allergies and your product has been the most effective treatment for them for several years. When ever a friend tells me about a reaction their kids are having, I say did you try Benadryl yet? It's the first name people think of when they think about sudden allergic reactions. It's a great product, without a doubt. I even use it!
Here is why I'm writing you: My kids are old enough now to use the chewables and fastmelt products you have. They are much eaiser to accurately dispense than their liquid counterpart, and they taste good and I have no problem getting them to take it.
However, both of these products contain artificial sweetners, the chewables (I can say w/certainty because they are in my hand right now) specifically contain aspartame, which ironically my kids are allergic to. In addition, there are artificial colors (red dye no. 27 and blue dye #1). The reason I am pointing this out is that you obviously already know that kids have allergic reactions to some inactive ingredients, such as dyes and sugar and that is why you offer the liquid dye-free, alcohol free, sugar free version. The sugar replacement in this case is not aspartame, but saccharine.
I would like to ask that you make a chewable and/or fastmelt product that does not contain dyes or aspartame. It seems counterintuitive to give my kids a product that aggrivates their allergies when I'm in fact trying to get them relief from their symptoms.
With 3 young kids, I go through bottles of this each allergy season. I'd much rather hand them a pill and not spill any of this *precious* medicine!
I hope to hear from you regarding this or better yet, see the new product on the shelves at my local CVS!
Thank you in advance.

Benadryl does make dye free products that don't contain Nutrasweet.

I don't know if either product is useful to you.
I know my nephew suffers from a lot of allergies, and my sister has used the dye free Bendaryl for years with no problems.

Great letter! I find it amazing that nutrasweet is in so many things now and there are truly many people allergic to it.
I hope they respond and you let us know the results!
