I was enjoying one of your pizza's and bit into something very hard (it was located in the crust).
I'm unable to figure out what the item is, or contact anyone. I sent two emails prior and recieved nothing. I contacted the local company and was put on hold and disc. several times. I called the toll free number and was told all operators were on calls and got disconnected, still trying to call.
I would like you to please send me a self addressed stamped envelope to send you this foriegn item. I took it to my neighbors and all three of them said it looked like a human tooth (mine is very sore but still quite attatched). I wish someone would please speak to me about it.
Pizza Hut is the only delivered pizza I eat. I'm avoiding ordering due to the material inside. I just need the comfort of knowing it's not any human body part.

Listen to what Timothy is telling you. Its very important that you also make sure none of your teeth are chipped and are in good condition.
And comparing it to a dime puts it into proportion so they can see that you were not able to see it before you bit into the crust.
(Yes, some food places will actually say that you should watch when you are eating and be aware of anything foreign in your food...trust me there was a big article about it a few years back in our local paper...but the incident was not local)
Keep us posted as to what the outcome is...I want to see what excuse PH comes up with.
Take pictures and compare next to a dime etc. Good idea and then I would have my lawyer send it certified mail to the FDA for identification. Then I would call the corporate offices.
Just the idea of something like this happening is unnerving. I wouldn't care what it was or where it came from, but I would expect them to at least find a plausable answer. The Pizza Hut's near me have always tried their best to address customer service issues. I'm surprised the manager wasn't available to a customer on the phone, especially with a concern such as this. I hope they get back to you.
You will lose your "evidence" if you mail it off to PIzza Hut. Maybe takes pics with a high resolution camera, and put something like a penny or dime next to it for size comparison.
That would creepy me out beyond words. I hope you get some sort of answer as to what in the world that object is.
I'd be tempted to take the object with me to the store that delivered the pizza. Show it to them and ask what your next step should be. It would be harder to ignore you face-to-face.
Just make sure you take pictures (with a ruler to scale it) of the item before you send it to anyone.
How easy would it be to your item to get "lost" in the mail?
Perhaps you could take the item into your dentist for verification that it is/is not a human tooth. It seems to me that he/she would be the better judge of that question. And he/she doesn't have an interest in the outcome.
Lisa G.,
I am sure Pizza Hut will get back to you.
That being said, your statement.. "Pizza Hut is the only delivered pizza I eat" seems to be in contrast with your letter.... "Just a note"
