PlanetFeedback Forum: How Do We Give Credit to Companies Who Care...or Who Respond?

Posted Sat November 12, 2005, by The Devoted PlanetFeedback Team written to PlanetFeedback Forums

Write a Letter to this Company

What steps can we take to ensure the companies that work hard to serve consumers receive the credit they deserve? What specifically can PlanetFeedback do? Recall a key part of the PlanetFeedback Mission Statement:

"WE WILL HELP CONSUMERS REWARD COMPANIES THAT SERVE THEM BEST. CONSUMER FEEDBACK - POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE - IS INHERENTLY PRODUCTIVE. CONSUMERS WANT VALUE, AND THEY WILL PROVIDE LOYALTY IN RETURN.

Here's are some thought-starters?

o Creating a special section for "over-achieving" companies

o Encouraging companies to respond to "shared-letters" so we can give them recognition

o Creating a better company directory so we can provide more information about a particular company's commitment to customer service

o Featuring more compliments on the home page of PFB

These are just though-starters. There's no question that positive-reinforcement always helps, so let's brainstorm some ideas to ensure companies and brands that work hard to win our loyalty and exceed our expectations get the credit they deserve. There are no bad ideas, so please provide feedback.

-a "PlanetFeedback-approved" Logo or "Good Business" Award sticker, or
something that the business can proudly display on their website or
window of their establishment.

-more business and revenue from informed consumers who read these
positive reviews and frequent the establishment.

-once I wrote a Positive review about a soup company here on
PlanetFeedback, which was forwarded to that company. They sent me a
coupon in the mail for their products!
..Conversely, I think if a business Knew that they got a New customer
because of positive "PlanetFeedback", maybe an online coupon or
something, and if management saw the statistics of this increased
patronage, then that alone would be Reward for the business.
