Publix goes above and beyond!

I was grocery shopping at Publix in Milgen Plaza, Columbus GA, Monday 8/14. My cashier was Fannie, and I would like to compliment her for going above and beyond.

I bought bottled water which was on sale. During the course of scanning my purchases, we were talking about different things and I had mentioned that since the water was on sale, that I should go back and get some more, since my well water has so much iron I don't like to drink it. Well, Fannie told me just to stay where I was, and she would scan through how many more bottles I wanted, and send the bagger to get the extra water so I wouldn't have to do it myself.

While I have come to expect the level of service that Publix always offers, I think that this was completely above and beyond! Publix never ceases to impress me, and the people working there are absolutely the BEST.

Thank you, Fannie, for going the extra step! You just reinforced why Publix is my favorite grocery store.

I tell people all the time that one of the few things I miss about FL is Publix! LOL - people think I'm nuts (prolly cuz I am), but it's true. (Wal-Mart doesn't do that!) Reply
