Bugs!

Posted Thu December 30, 2010 12:17 pm, by Rebecca G. written to Quaker Oats

Write a Letter to this Company

Recently (this week) purchased a box of instant grits (Cheese flavor) at BiLo in Pickens SC. Had several packs. This morning found bugs floating in my grits. :( Im smart enough to know this happens but who can I go to for a refund? I have no store receipt. This was a newly purchased product (within four days). I eat this every morning. It shouldnt be old enough to have bugs crawling around in it.
Id like to ask for some input from the company. A refund? Replacement? Explanation? Anything. Im disgusted.

Please provide some apology or insight. Id like my money back...and my grits!

I'd think your local store would also want to know about this, since
there are probably other boxes on their shelf from the same batch.
Give that a shot.

You are right. There should be no bugs in your grits. If you don't
want to go back to the store, you can call the number on the box or
contact Quaker through its website. I'm sure they will take care of
you.

I don't think you need your receipt. Go to where you bought them
(especially if that's your usual store) and exchange them or get your
money back. I don't think they'll be upset with you or anything.
