Great Girls

Posted Sun March 16, 2008 3:08 am, by Novel J. written to Quaker Steak and Lube

Today I went with 16 other people to Quaker Steak and Lube in Sharon, Pa. It is a great and fun place to go. But, on this occasion, they were having the Easter Bunny and kids meals were only 99 cents. Reservations must have been made as the friend that had invited us had made ours a month ago. It was obviously very busy and crowded. To sit 17 people all together was a feat in itself but they did it. Then, the syrup in the Sprite ran out and wasn't in our kids drinks and they had to change they and they got right on it. There was a waitress and another girl kept jumping in to help her. Both of them were keeping right on top of things. My daughter had to be at work soon, and they even took special care to help get her waited on first so she wouldn't be late for work. I feel this was above and beyond the call of duty. And, they worked with a smile and worked right with all those kids and didn't get anything screwed up. I commend them on a job well done.
Thanks for great service and an enjoyable time.

What a wonderful letter, Novel. I have to admit, I had to read the
"Quaker Steak and Lube" part twice to be sure I got it right, then
wondered what the heck kind of business it was! Sounds like a fun
family-oriented place to eat.

I would like to suggest that you send a similar note to the actual
location (in case this is a chain), to be sure that the manager of
that location does get your delightful comments. A note like that
would be posted in the break room and you'd make the day of lots of
employees, I assure you.

What a great letter with which to start off my Sunday morning. Thanks
for the upper.
