New Menu is Awful

On my most recent visit to Macaroni Grill, I went to dine to celebrate a recent event. As a couple with one child, we usually spend around $70 or so depending on the bottle of wine we got. To my surprise, your entire menu has changed. All of our favorites were gone. The bread changed, for the worse, and the staff was vapid and uniterested in us even being there.

After staring blankly at the new menu for awhile and not finding anything except overpriced tappas that even looked remotely possible, we decided to walk out. I noted the new emphasis on pizza as well. If I want a good pizza, your place is not where I want to go to pay an asinine price for a 10 inch pizza.

Honestly, what were you guys thinking? We will never, ever, return. So you know, we went to a local microbrewery and were THRILLED with the service and food, and spent less than half of what we would have at Macaroni Grill.

Oddly enough, I was wondering why it always looked like an empty parking lot lately. When we went in at a peak hour, the place was practically vacant.

You guys really blew it.

Just a side thought...we usually give out Macaroni Grill gift cards
for the holiday season. No more. There's several hundred bucks they
won't get. Sorry...Olive Garden is not a good substitute either with
the pre-fab meals cooked in a central kitchen and put together on
site. This trend is really disturbing.

You found a place that has excellent service and food, AND you're
supporting a local business.

This is good feedback for Romano's.
