Safeway's Online Prescription Refill Not Working Properly

For the most part, I'm satisfied with my local store. What's annoying is that their online prescription refill doesn't work right most of the time. I do all that's asked, enter the proper data, click hither and thither, am told that all is well and that my meds will be waiting for me. Then I go there the next day, or even several days later, and the store doesn't have the meds ready. There is no record of my request. If I want the meds then, I have to wait around while they fill it then. The pharmacy folks have no idea what the problem is, nor do they seem to have any way to deal with or report such problems. I attempted to send an email to Safeway and got a reply from someone who either couldn't read very well, or didn't bother to. They implied that the problem was probably the fault of the on site staff, but made no mention of looking into it. Since the online staff has no control over the website, I knew I was dealing with a really stupid person.

Tell someone in their IT dept to figure out what's wrong and fix it. And more important, set up avenues for employees and customers to complain about such problems quickly and easily. I could phone in my refills, but I like to do stuff online and not take up a person's time if I don't have to. If Safeway is going to offer this sort of service, they should make sure that it works, and can be fixed quickly if it breaks.
