A simple perfume purchase for Mothers Day gone BAD!

I used to be a HUGE fan of Saks, after this experience it will be the LAST place I shop for a gift for someone. I called the Saks North Michigan Avenue in Chicago to purchase a desired perfume for my wife for mothers day on Thursday May 10. I Spoke to Daniel who was quite eager to get my sale and said I could purchase over the phone and he could have it shipped to our home for a small fee. I gladly paid over the phone and figured it should not be to long to go from Chicago to Chicago. Daniel called me on Friday to confirm address which should have been a HUGE red flad. A week later I call and speak with Daniel who says he will get a tracking number and call me back in 5(five)minutes. After waiting 3 hours, I called back and reached a manager (kathy) who stated she wouuld look into it. When she does call me back I get an apology an explanation of why it had NOT shipped yet and my wife "should" recieve it by friday. Really! I could have driven to your store 9 or 10 times and had it to my wife by today!

At the bare minimum I should have the shipping fee waived. Because you have LOST a customer. You should do what you feel you need to do to get us back! This whole experience was quite a joke. For Kathy to tell me it will ship on tommorow May 17 without saying here's what I am going to do for you was not even funny. I have a good mind to return the item and buy it from somewhere else.

You couldn't be bothered to go to the store to buy it, but you'll be
bothered to return it? I'm guessing NOT.
