WHEN CAN I EXPEXT AN ANSWER FROM SEARS ON THIS MATTER
Service Order #: 40472666
Sears serviceman arrived at my home about 2:40 PM on 5-31-12.
The receipt notes that a "mower deck leveling" was performed but this was not done on my tractor. I watched as the serviceman installed a new blade to replace the damaged blade. I do not know why this charge was put on my bill . It was marked "warranty" but it was never done on my tractor. Page 24 of the operators manual notes the procedure for mower deck leveling and this was not done on my tractor.
Furthermore, why was I charged $21.58 for the replacement blade. The most expensive blade for my tractor on www.sears.com/parts is $17.99. Why was I charged a higher price for the replacement blade.
Please advise.

Dear John S.,

My name is Susan with Sears Social Media Support Escalations team. We
are a single point of contact for escalated issues which means that we
handle an issue start to finish with one dedicated case manager. I
found your post here and wanted to reach out and offer our assistance
to help resolve the issues regarding the billing of your tractor
service. We understand your concern over not receiving the services
that are listed on your bill as performed. I would also be skeptical
as to why you are being charged for something that hasn't taken place.
We value your business very much and want to make sure that everything
that can be done to help resolve this issue has been done on your
behalf.

At your convenience please contact our office via email at
SMAdvisor@searshc.com and a dedicated case manager will contact you
directly. In the email, please provide a contact phone number and the
phone number the tractor service was purchased under (if different
than the contact phone number) and we will call you directly. Also, in
your email, please provide your screen name (John S.) you used to post
on this site, for reference to your issue, and we do look forward to
talking to you soon.

Thank you,

Susan R.

yes you can always find your own parts cheaper.

this is normal for pretty much every repair job be it a motor or a
car. the thing is that ... it doesn't mean THEY have to use those
parts that you find.
