 sony laptop charger

my husabnd had purchased a sony vio laptop for me for christmas i loved it one day the battery pack started to beep and then got real hot when i called sony the recording said that they were recalling some batteries because they were overheating and causing fires but wouldnt u know it not mine my battery was not on the recall list and sony said there was nothing they could do about it i would have to purchase a new charger for 120 dollars i am so mad the battery was clearly defective why do i have to pay to replace it i will never buy another sony product and i will tell everyone about this so they wont buy their products either
i would like sony to send me a new charger for my laptop at no charge to me my email address is gluttrellhunter@yahoo.com
