Gate agents went the extra mile

I was scheduled to fly from Pittsburgh to Indianapolis via Chicago today. I was supposed to have an approximately 1 hour layover in Chicago. The flight from Pittsburgh was delayed by about 1 hr.
Prior to boarding the gate agent in Pittsburgh called the Indianapolis passengers to the podium. She explained that the connection was going to very tight. She made a notation on our boarding passes so we could pre-board and select a seat close to the front.
This allowed me (and others) to make my connection (barely). Thank you Southwest for going the extra mile and helping customers who otherwise would have probably missed their connection.
