Why am I being penalized instead of rewarded for staying with Sprint for 8 years?

I recently upgraded my phone last month. Because I wasn't due for an upgrade until August 1, 2012, Sprint charged me a $45 "Early upgrade fee." I used to be able to upgrade my phone once a year. Now, they make me wait 20 months to upgrade, and they charge a fee if I want to up grade before then. In addition to that, on my first bill after the upgrade, I realized that they also charged me an $36 "Upgrade fee." How can you charge someone $81 in "upgrade fees!!?"

I am furious because I have been with Sprint for the last 8 years, and there's no reward for sticking with them. I have excellent credit, and can go to ANY wireless provider of MY choice and get up to 10 lines of service. I don't HAVE to stay with Sprint. To make matters worst, I get tons of dropped calls, I don't receive all of my text messages and voicemails until sometimes DAYS later, and the worst part of all, I can't use my data while I'm at work. I am at work for 9.5/day, so I'm basically paying a bunch fees and a montly bill for a service that has let me down NUMEROUS amounts of times.

I would like for Sprint to: 1) Grandfather me in so I can continue to receive my "Once a year" phone upgrades without having to pay an "Early upgrade fee." 2) Refund me for BOTH upgrade fees that I paid. 3)Compensate me on a monthly basis for having TERRIBLE service at my house, while at work, and just about EVERYWHERE I go. 4)Allow me to go elsewhere without having to pay a cancellation fee if this can't be rectified.

There is not a carrier in the world that's going to give you a new
phone every year at no cost. That's just not even reasonable in
today's marketplace.

Phones are ALOT more expensive now. the average smartphone runs about
$500+ (the new Iphone I believe was $800.00) thats the companies cost,
so when you get one of these smart phones for $50-$100 bucks they lose
money. They need you to use it for a bit longer to recoup their
loss.

And if you have terrible servie EVERYWHERE you go why would you
renew???? That makes no sense.

If you have such terrible service, why did you renew your contract by
upgrading? You upgraded early so you were charged a fee. That's fair
in my opinion. If your upgrade was due on August 1st, why didn't you
just wait the 2 weeks?
