I signed it to Sprint on November on 2011. The sales representative on the phone offered me a rebate of $100 if I imported my phone number from a different carrier (T-mobile) to lock me in to a 2 year contract. I thought it was a great deal so I signed up. Now customer service at sprint are informing me that there is no such promo. And what's even worse is that they cannot locate the person that made the sale because he is somewhere across the globe (one of sprint's outsourcing foreign companies). This is a matter of ethics... I don't care if I have to be spend thousands on legal fees but I'm going to take this as far as I can. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau (the only time I ever reported a company). The worst experience with a company I ever encountered. The best thing I learned from this experience is that I should always get all the information regarding the promotion in writing in the future. I never been lied about a promotion before and at this point I just wished I could break the contract and go with a different provider... Don't even care about a silly $100 bucks...

Honor their promotion U$ 100 rebate...

Sorry about your problem with a representative of it Sprint promising
a $100 rebate and then another person saying they have no such rebate.
My question is what has a higher authority from the company stated?

It would seem logical to me that if Sprint does not want to honor the
$100 rebate the company definitely would not want a customer spreading
this on the internet causing a potential lost of customers.

Customers who read about your experience that were thinking about
switching services would have to factor that into their decision
making process. I can also see Sprint's side of the argument that
they can't honor every deal that a person said was offered by a phone
representative.

You are correct in saying get more information from phone
representatives, this would have allowed Sprint an opportunity to
investigate your claim. ( I think all calls are recorded for this
reason.)

Good Luck your future phone transactions.

Sorry. :( I know these companies lie to people all the time and I
think it's shameful.
