The Piadini...a definite winner in my opinion

Hello.

I just wanted to write today to give you feedback on your new breakfast offering...the Piadini. Prior to the launch of the Piadini last week I visited my local Starbucks at 1380 East Ave. in Chico, CA and requested one of your sausage breakfast sandwiches. The store was all out of sausage, but the gentleman who waited on me (I'm afraid I don't know his name, but he is there most weekday mornings it seems... one of the managers I believe) very generously offered me a sausage, egg and cheddar Piadini to sample on the house. Since the launch I have been back and purchased one because I thought it was very tasty. Definitely more-so than the existing breakfast sandwiches in my opinion...more moist. I have yet to try the Portobello Mushroom Piadini, but that just may be the ticket for tomorrow morning on my way to work.

I should add that I actually had to eat my first Piadini cold because it was awhile before I was able to get around to eating it and the microwave in my office was broken and I STILL thought it was good. Thanks for introducing it to your lineup of food offerings and kudos also to the Starbucks on East and Mariposa in Chico for their consistantly excellent customer service.

OMG! My store only has bakery goods. (although the Berry Stella is
AWESOME!)

I have to find one of these!

Just a few months ago, there were articles in the paper here about how
Starbucks was STOPPING the breakfast sandwiches for a variety of
reasons.

I wonder what caused the about face?
