Economics, really?

We dined at Steak 'n Shake the other night. We eat there about once or twice a month, but it has been a while since our last visit. We ordered our dinner. The server brought our shakes. They were significantly smaller than the last ones we had ordered. Didn't think much about it. But, when they brought out our dinner and the server gave my youngest daughter this tiny bowl of about three bites of macaroni, I had to say something. We buy the single servings of Kraft mac and cheese at home and they make and eat those themselves. This serving was about a third of one of those. It was ridiculous and I spoke to the server about it. She was mildly concerned and said that is the amount in the pre-packaged container and they just fix it. Fortunately, they got my order incorrect and I received french fries that I gave to my daughter so she could have a full meal. Mind you, she is not a big child, by any means - very healthy and eats well. But this was a disappointing dinner.

Re-evaluate your 'economic' cut-backs and make some better choices. Yes, most of the dinners are a good value, but to have paid around five dollars for my daughter's meal, she only got about a twenty cent amount of macaroni.

As I said on the other complaint, KRAFT the MANUFACTURER of the Mac
and cheese made it smaller. I noticed it because where I work uses
them as well.

Sure everyone wants to say "big portions and keep the price the same"
even if it means the establishment loses profit.

to those i suggest... taking cutbacks on their salary. cos that's
what you're proposing these food establishments do. lose money.

Or perhaps it's time to remember - businesses exist to make a profit.
There's no shame in that. Businesses that don't exist to make
profits are called charities. or they cease to exist entirely.
