Waiting at Super Cut for no reason

On 5/6/11 I went to your Newburyport MA location to get a hair cut. I have been going to this location for a while and I'm generally happy. I usually don't have to wait more than a minute or two.

This time was a different story. There were four stylists and a person at the desk. Two of the stylists were with clients and the other two were walking around doing inventory. I overheard one of the stylists mention that they told a 5th stylist to come in late because they were so slow. Slow? There were customers waiting and somehow inventory was more important that those customers. Why does it take two people to count such a small amount of inventory? After about 15 minutes I got up and left.

I decided to try the new Cost Cutters that just opened next door. It was a great experience and I look forward to giving them my business in the future. So long Super Cuts!

The mere fact that the employees are at the shop does NOT mean they
are scheduled to cut. In fact these persons may not be employees at
all but instead independance contractors. Employees or not they may
have been there to do this inventory with the other two doing the
cutting and YES the slow level of business maybe a reasonable reason
to have the 5th person come in late.
HAVE you considered making an APPOINTMENT?
