Unfair ship to store policy

I placed an order on 11/23/16 for a 100 piece Magrific building set and was told it would be delivered to the Brandywine store on 12/9/16.

Two days later i get an email saying it's out of stock and I'll get it 1/3/17. Totally missing Christmas.
I checked online today and what do I find ? It's not out of stock at all. Just available for $69.99 + tax + shipping. So why can't it be shipped to my store or another in the area, but honoring the price on my order.

Ship my item as originally promised
