i had a very unpleasent experience w/this bigbox store [target ]i asked a simple question about store signage at the southbay store dorchester mass.i told them i collect the pokemon signage and will not sell it which i dont.well this guy was very rude and hung up on me.needless i hate your policy on signage [which i found out later on w/a phonecall]people say go green these bigbox stores are hippocites when you got people telling you go green and you destroy things that are collectors items that people may want this is why i dislike bigbox store their policies do not make sense.

You can't have it. Maybe a store employee is taking it home. What's
to say, by the way, that you won't sell it? They don't know that, and
have no control over what you do in the future.

Why was this very unpleasant? You asked and they said "no". Then you
pursued the matter and they hung up on you. Kudos to the fellow at
the Southbay Store.

Think of the management that would be required to handle the
distribution of displays and unneeded display materials. Arguments
over who got their name in first. It would be a nightmare, and one
they don't need. The green argument is a bit thin. Far more waste in
the form of cardboard boxes for daily stock is managed somehow.

The way I see it is if items like this can not be dealt out fairly
they should not be dealt out at all.

Okay I think I got the meat of your note.

You want the pokeman display you saw at target. You called to inquire
about it, and you wanted them to save it for you. The clerk was very
rude and hung up on you. Then you call them names and say they are
anti environment by not going green by not giving you the pokeman
display.

I have had this experience of "saving" things like this for people.
Too often they never come back and we end up throwing it away.

You have to realize this does happen quite often, and they are gearing
up for the day after thanksgiving selling, so they are probably busy,
and overworked, and stressed out.

Good Day
