Credit bureau and closed account

Write a Letter to this Company

I am a Chinese student. I left USA for China on May 15th. My last purchases were on May 12th and 13th which actually are overdrawn. Before I left US, I checked the account through ATM which shows that my account is still positive. Because I am in China, it is hard for me to get access to the phone account service. And also because I don't have SSN, I can not be enrolled in the online bank. When I fill in the profile, I both filled the addresses in US and in China. And on July 17th, I received an airmail from TCF bank which was sent on June 30th saying that my account is closed because of overdrawn. I have to pay back before 6th July. Then the big problem happened! The airmail needs 2 weeks to 2 months to be received. And I definitely missed the due date. But I immediately contacted with the TCF bank because I am really willing to pay the money I owed. I also transfered money as soon as I can which is done on 18th of July. (Then bank doesn't work during the weekend, so it is the quickest time that I can get my money transfered). If I got the bank statement before that date, I will of course pay back and the following things would't happen. But it seems that I have been reported to the credit bureau by the bank. I know I have to control my financial status but it is hard for me to get that information. And the bank didn't do well to contact with me since I also have the e-mail address and mobile phone number in my profile that I filled when I registered the bank account.
I really appreciate the work TCF did during the last year because it is really the best choice for me to be on campus. And I have appointed with the customer service about reopening and having more actions to take control over my account. But I am still annoyed by the entry in the credit bureau.

Pleas help me remove the entry from the bureau.

Credit marks don't drop off just because you pay the debt. That's one
of the cold hard truths of the credit reporting system.

also - atm balances are notoriously never up to date.

as for getting access to the phone system, you may want to consider an
online phone service.
