Time Warner effected my credit score!

I was a time warner cable customer for 5 months with no problems. Once I was moving to a place Time Warner advised me that I could not take my service to the new address. I them canceled my service and took my equipment in to the center. Once at the center I requested the final bill and the Time Warner Rep advised me that I would get it in the mail. I told him I was moving and he took in my new address (wink, wink). All I got was a phone call 2 months later saying that they were a collection agency collecting a debt for Time Warner Cable. Time Warner you had all my information, all you had to do was CALL ME....

Stop BS-ing your customers and get real customer service represenatives.

instead of insisting that TW call you, why don't you take some
responsibility for your bill? I am a collection agent and people ask
me to call them back to remind them to pay their bill all the time.
Don't they know how to use a calendar? It reminds me of having to tell
my kids, be sure to clean your room, remember to take the trash out;
etc.

I don't understand the "wink, wink" comment.

... and all you had to do was call them.

Since apparently you didn't like the consequences of not paying the
bill, I'm a little confused as to why you didn't take action to ensure
that you could.

You do realize that if you didn't get a final bill in a few weeks you
could have actually called them and asked what was up, right? You
could have even paid it right then.
