No Ohio State Games with Time Warner!

Recently, when the fall football season started, I realized I was not able to watch the Ohio State games, and the only way to do so was to buy the big ten package. This makes me irate!
I am very seriously considering dumping Time Warner. We have always been able to watch the games before, and I see no reason why this should be different this year. Its ridiculous that you all expect us to pay a little under $15 a month to watch one football game a week.
FIX THE PROBLEM, and start showing the games again!

Settle down... only a few of the games won't be televised by Time Warner. Didn't you notice that the Buckeyes game was on last Saturday?

I can certainly sympathize with your frustration, but I think it's partially misguided. The problem is really the Big 10 and it's new "Network". In Michigan, most of the major cable carriers are not even carrying the Big 10 Network because of it's costs that they will not budge on. Cable companies want to put it in the Sports Tier here and raise that price to protect the people who really care less about sports. I can appreciate that, even as an avid sports fan. However, you then lessen the pool of payees and the overall cost per person goes up. I have not heard of any scenerio where it reaches $15/month though, just for the Big Ten network. Possibly is this the cost to add the entire sports Tier??
Regardless, it is a pain for everyone involved, to say the least. I urge people to watch the games on free ABC/NBC, etc and forget paying for the Big 10 Network. The networks get first pick anyway, so once the regular games start up, you will get to see OSU again on non-pay TV. You just are not seeing them as they play their cupcakes.
Good luck.
