I had a service call and a guy came out to my house, looked things over and said I'll be back tonight to fix it (ticket number 10758900). I did not see him again. I called customer servive again only to be informed "our computer system is down, your area will be repaired by November 1st".

After being promised the cable would be fixed by 9pm on October 25th, I would like Time Warner to come and fix my cable now.

I have had many problems with time-warner. When my ex turned off the
cable internet, the same day I tried to turn it back on in my name.
We got a self install kit, and I am very competent with computers so I
installed it myself. Turns out that they failed to turn on the modem
on their end, or authorise it or whatnot, so I had to call them up and
get transferred to at least 7 different people. Each person I talked
to had no idea how to even hook up their own product. I was on hold
for one hour and fifteen minutes. My cell phone was my only means of
communication and it was getting so hot in my hand that I almost
couldn't hold it to my head anymore. Also they took a week to turn
back on my cable tv. Funny how they can turn it off without being
there, but if you want to turn it on in someone else's name, they need
a "technician" to come and do hell knows what to the cable that was
working just that morning. I don't know. I am afraid to switch
because I have grown up with Time Warner cable, and I just assumed
that all cable and phone companies are just like that.

I hate to break it to you Scott, I have Direct TV and they are also
run by a bunch of incompetent idiots. Want decent TV service? Go to
radio shack and get old fashioned rabbit ears!

Good luck. They honestly have the worst service of any company I have
ever dealt with.
