Pathetic Excuse for Baby Registry on BabiesRus.com

To whom it may concern,
I have recently registered for my baby shower on your online store, babiesrus.com.
I have an issue with the form to fill out in the grandparents section. You only have 2 places for grandparents, and can only insert up to 8 characters in each of them. My mother and father are divorced, and my fiance has a mother and a foster mother. Have you people ever been updated on the divorce ratio in this country? Or even considered the fights caused between 2 families and how devastated my fiance's foster mother was to not be included as a grandparent on the registration? Or my father?
You should be considering the families that have more than 2 grandparents, and be thoughtful enough to provide enough space for more than 8 characters.
I think you should take into account to redo your pathetic excuse of a registry form and realize this isn't the 1950's.

Yep, you're right. This isn't the 1950's. If it were, there would be only two sets of grandparents listed. BTW, are you married to the baby daddy? Guess not if you refer to him as your 'fiance.' More dysfunctionality breeds....

I think the grandparents are included to help identify the parents (if they have a common name such as Smith).
You may have a point that the more people you could list would help in the event someone's not sure they have the right registry.
But
Why would you send such a mean and insulting letter to anyone. Especially a company that sets up a way for you to get "free" gifts at no cost to you. The registry is free - if you don't like it, go somewhere else or send a nicely written helful message.

Your kidding right? Your family has entirely too much time on their hands if they are devistated by that!!!!!!

And honestly, your families are lacking in class and dignity if they FOUGHT over this. That's simply ridiculous.
And this complaint sounded familiar... there was another one like it about a year ago, in case anyone cares:

There's not even a real need to include grandparents' names in a baby registry. If a grandparent's friend wants to buy your baby a gift, that person can ask your name and where you're registered.
Anyone who would be "devastated" as to not be included needs to grow up and gain perspective.

Color me uninformed, but why would you include grandparents' names in your registry? If the people buying gifts don't know you enough to know your name, why are they shopping for you? I don't get it.
