Why run a sale you're not willing to honor?

I have placed many orders online and have never been lied to like Toys R Us did today. I ordered some fisher price toys from them last night for my youngest daughter. They had a sale for 1 day only. Then today, I receive this email:
Dear Daneesh,
Greetings from Toys"R"Us & Babies"R"Us!
We would like to let you know that some or all of the items from your order 7831303851-000 are
unavailable at this time, and have been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience this
may cause.
The following item(s) have been cancelled from your order:
Item: 61FEDA3B
Description: PROJECTOR SOOTHER
Quantity: 1 @ $ .00
Item: 61FED73B
Description: MUSICAL DASH
Quantity: 1 @ $ .00
Item: ACE03672
Description: BR BOP AND BOUNCE BALL
Quantity: 1 @ $ .00
Item: C6390734
Description: BABY GYMTASTICS BT
Quantity: 1 @ $ 20.99
Yet, when I go to their website right now, they are all available!!! Why would you run a sale if you're not up to honoring it, but still charge your customers for them, and then lie to your customers on top of it?
Please send me my toys at the price I was charged since they are in "available to ship" and quit lying to your customers.

Sorry.. I had earlier replied to the wrong statement. :)
Please see below:
I would just like to add my two cents on this issue. Upon reading
your complaint and seeing your order, you took advantage of the system
and are now mad about it. The promotion was for Buy ONE get ONE free
and you bought ONE and got THREE free. Humans run the website and
everything associated with it so sometimes mistakes happen. So,
because you found a mistake and ran with it you now think they are a
bad company when you were the one taking advantage??

And what did they say when you called them and asked them before assuming the worst and writing this? Couldn't it have been a simple glitch? A 5 minute phone call may have done wonders and fixed this. Calling a company "liars" really isn't the best way to convince them to give you what you want.
