Lost Minutes

We have a family account with tracfone and 3 phones on the plan. After about 10 months, my oldest daughter's phone died and she purchased a new one. After about a month this phone began acting crazy and the 100 minutes that she had were suddenly deducted for no reason. Upon calling tracfone customer service they tried giving her codes to enter, which did not fix the problem. It was decided that she would need a new phone. The new phone was mailed and when we received it, it had no minutes on it. We called tracfone to try to get the minutes restored, at first they said they couldn't replace the minutes. Then we talked to a supervisor who said we would have to wait 2 weeks for them to research the issue. This is really unacceptable. My daughter had 100 minutes on her phone and has already been without a phone for a week. Now we have to wait another 2 weeks for them to research it?? Couldn't they have just figured it out... or taken our word for it and given us 100 courtesy minutes? It is really unacceptable that we pay for 3 phones on the family value plan each month so that all three kids can have a phone. Now my daughter will have to be without one for another 2 weeks. Another issue was that the person on the other end kept saying we should have 20 units. We kept explaining that it said 0.0 units and he just seemed to not believe us. He kept saying his computer showed 20.....

I would like my daughter's phone to be restored with the 100 minutes that were lost ASAP so that she can have her phone with her when she travels to and from school.

I lost my wife's tracfone with what I thought was 700 to 800 minutes
on it, we never paid much attention as it was more than enough
minutes. I went out and bought a new tracfone with minutes for life,
plugged it in and called tracfone.

They were very understanding, they activated the new phone and
deactivated the old one. The new phone had my wife's old number but
only 10 minutes. They gave me a case number and told me to call back
in 2 weeks. I called back, gave them the case number, and after ten
minutes or so it was done and 719 minutes were transfered to my wife's
phone! THe people were courteous and everything was done in a
professional manner.

i decided to upgrade from my old ordinary c139 tracfone, to a new
w376g tracfone with camera, blue tooth compatible, downloadable
ringtones and best of all, UNLIMITE DOUBLE MINUTES for the life of
that phone. so i purchased it with a 200 minute card. when i got
home, i went online and activated my tracfone, cuz it gives me 10
extra minutes, free X 2, and also a promotional code, for 30 minutes
and my 200 minutes X 2...doing the math...that's 450 minutes; and also
i'm wanting to transfere my old tracfone number and minutes to my new
tracfone....simple....huh......I WISHED!!!! as you said, they had me
punching in codes, after codes, after codes.....and they said, in a few
hours, the old # and minutes, would switch over to my new one. after
i hung up, i got my new tracfone and turned it it back, 300 MINUTES
ARE NOW MISSING, and i haven't even used that phone yet, so i called
them back immediatley. again.....i'm punching in codes and so
on......and the representive beging question my 450 minutes, by
saying, that i only purchased a 200 minute card, when i told her about
the double minutes for life.....she didn't know anything about that
type of phone.....YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!......but after all
that, i was told that it would be up to 72 hours for my minutes and
number transfered, but i would have to call back and restore my 300
missing minutes.....geeez....but i said alright.

72 hours came and went.....and still no transfere of minutes has
accured, i called back....CODE PUNCHING AGAIN.....and they said they
would call me back in 24 to 72 hours, for my missing minutes....and
it's now the next day....and my minutes and phone # hasn't trasfered.

now all i want is my missing minutes, forget transfering the old
minutes and phone number....300 is alot

by the way...did i tell you, my old tracfone is supposed to be
deactivated, according to tracfone, but i can still recieve and make
calls from it

i don't know what's going on up there, but they need to get their act
straight
