I bought a new tracfone, tried activating was told I needed a new SIM card so few days later I received and called to activate. The phone number is long distance. I have called 3 times and each time told they will change it to my local phone number but it stays long distance. The last lady I talked to said there are no local numbers?! Why would I buy a phone that I can only have a number that is over an hour away?? Ridiculous. Then when I asked to talk to a supervisor she says she'll try again. To give it an hour. It's not been an hour and half and no new number. Very bad service. if no numbers in an area it should say so on their website(which i checked before i bought).
Give me a local phone number, their site said it was available.
