I bought 2 tracfones. One for me and one for my husband. The first go round was fine, but when it became time to upload new cards, the fun started.I bought 2> 30 minute cards they gave us the codes for the phones but the date and the time never changed. We called they said to give it 36 hours.. OK.. 36 hours later nothing.. I had the bright or maybe the not so bright idea of signing up for their family plan for 2 phones, this way, so I thought.. we did everything we were told to... no updates for our phones.. either of them... sooooooooooooooooo.. I called I was on the phone for 2 plus hours after basically being told this guy didnt know what to do for me and he needed to talk to a higher up.. ok.. he asked if i could hold.. sure after this point what a little more time... i hear a click and dial tone... ok i called back.. to get due to the high volume of calls your call can not be taken at this time.. please try again later... GRRRRRRRRRRRR.. this recording i have gotten each and every time i have called since that time.. So i emailed them using there email form. I got a response saying to call them... well did i mention each and every time i call i get this recording... i still do... so i go to email back saying i cant get thru.. hmmmmmmmmmmm my emails wont go thru now either.... so i do the email like im not a client yet.. and low and behold they go thru.. i have had a many many emails to tracfone about this problem.. this has been going on since the end of june... they have tried to call me but they call when i am at work... never when i am home... when i get home and see they have called i call them back to get the recording to try again later... i email they say they need to talk to me.. to give them time to call.. i did this 2 times and no calls during the times i requested.. one day they called 3 times one right after the other.. i could see from my caller id.. once at 11 once at 1101 ad once at 1102.. then to get an email saying they called 3 times that day.. i emailed saying... again doing it as though im not a client because if i give my account info it will not go thru...im done with tracfone.. to get an email saying they now notice that both my phones are defective and will be sending me new one.. also to be told that the phones would have an airbill with my mintues ther for the new phones plus that they owed me mintues from another phone to be transfered to the new one.. one phone was damaged by my fault so i didnt ask for 2 phones but only one... i was under the impression that the phone would come all ready to go.. i got an email saying that i would need to call them... well each and everytime i call i get my lovely recording... so thats not going to work and emailed saying so... i recieved another email saying that everything could be done email.. ok i get the phone... no airbill not set up and i could not set it up email or online period i needed to call and guess what i get for 3 solid days.. due to the high volume of phone calls you need to call again later.. i sent everything back.. all the phone my 2 and the replacement one.. my cards i purchased that wouldnt go on there and the fact that i bought a family plan for 2 phones...

i would like my money back for both 30 minutes and the family plan that never took on my phones.. that would be 35.99 roughly... i will suck up the cost of of the phones..

Cindy--first, on behalf of the Planet Feedback community, please
accept my apologies for Harley's condescending response. There is no
excuse for the grammar lesson. Unfortunately, there are some people
who seem to feel better about themselves when they put others down.

I had no trouble understanding your letter. The way you were treated
by Tracfone is ridiculous. I suggest sending this letter to the FCC.
This is ultimately the best way to warn customers, because most
consumer rating systems rate cell phone companies based on their
number of FCC complaints.

I'd love to helpyou but this letter is all over the place and lacks
puncuation (... is not puncuation). It makes it impossible to read
and I think Tracfone will have the same problem.
