Phone has service, can't call or text

I bought a tracfone in 2003, up until today I have been able to send text messages. Now all of a sudden my phone says "Message service not subscribed". A visit to the tracfone website informs me that text messaging isn't available in my calling area, and repeated calls to customer service have resulted in nothing but busy signals. It also appears that I can no longer make or receive calls from my phone as well.

Restore my texting and calling capabilities.
