I purchased a Trac Fone from Meijers on 1-7-08. It is now 1-12-08 and still have no service. The first phone that I purchased at Meijers could not be activated due to them having no numebrs available in my area. Why was this being sold in my area??? Noone can answer that. In te meantime I have spent HOURS on the phone calling from my Cellular One cell phone, using my minutes from that hearing the same routine over and over. Several representative and several supervisors later they shipped me ANOTHER Trac Fone. That was 28 hours ago. NOW I am being told that they have a technical issue with this NEW phone and can't get it active for 48 to 72 hours - THEY HOPE. I keep calling and calling, getting madder and madder, repeating my name, address, e-mail, zip code to everyone I talk to - they don't keep any of this information on their system until your phone is activated. Noone seems to be able to help me. They all are WILLING TO SHIP ME YET ANOTHER phone. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT HAS TAKEN 5 DAYS AND YET ANOTHER 3 TO GET A PRE-PAID WIRELESS PHONE ACTIVATED!!!!!!! I wish to hell that I would have gone with anyone else other than TracFone!!!!GET MY PHONE WORKING ASAP!!!!!! MY SON IS LEAVING WEDNESDAY MORNING AND HAS TO HAVE A PHONE WITH HIM. BY MONDAY P.M. IF THE TRAC PHONE IS NOT WORKING I AM GOING TO BE FORCED TO DRIVE BACK INTO TOWN, WHICH CADILLAC MICHIGAN IS 45 MINUTES - ONE WAY - FROM ME TO PURCHASED SOME OTHER COMPANIES PHONE. AT THAT POINT I CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT A NIGHTMARE I WILL BE INTO JUST TRYING TO GET A REFUND FOR MY TRAC FONE AND MY AIRTIME CARD!!!!!
