credit reporting

I have a Zales card listed as late on your credit report. This account was never late and Zales verified this with me on the phone, however they sold their credit services to Citibank. Citibank says it is not their mistake and Zales should correct it, Zales say they dont own the account anymore and cant fix it.

I would like to have the late payment for Feb. of 2012 removed. This is affecting my buying a house.
