Write a Letter to this Company
I reserved a 20 ft truck w/ auto transport, got confirmation that it would be in Milton-Freewater, OR U-Haul on 06-02-12 in am. On day of pickup I received a call from Melinda at UHAUL Distribution center stating none of the equipment is available to pick up and site is closed. I had to drive 68 miles one way to get a smaller truck (17 ft) w/ auto transport, was charged more than original reservation and did not get money off that Melinda promised. Because of all this I had to put out hundreds of extra dollars on gas and lost valuable time. Also was yelled at by Melinda for not checking my email when I was driving 300 miles to get to Milton Freewater to get my stuff.
Full refund of all money. Also I will never rent from UHAUL again unless this is rectafied to my satisfaction. Make sure all employees are current on customer service training.
