Billed for something that was returned.

I was in the process of moving (end of December, beginning of January) and I found out the new location had a dish, so I decided to use the Verizon (3 service) deal and signed up online. As my move-in date approached, I had more and more problems confirming the service dates/installation dates, so I decided to cancel the service (before it was activated) and go with Comcast. 2 weeks later, I get an installation kit mailed to me from Verizon, I called them up, they sent me a return label and said drop it in a postal box. I did those steps and now they are billing me for the equipment and said it should have been shipped via UPS and that I need to call all of the postal operations in the region and see if any of them are holding the box and have them put a tracer on the box.

Delete the billing as I have never had service w/ Verizon and I shouldn't be billed.

Dish is horrible!

We use to have that piece of junk attached to our roof. I finally
convinced the wife to junk the thing, after a store came in and she
couldnt watch her favorite show.

We signed up for Verizon Fios, and Internet.

Got rid of the junky unreliable dish, and the crappy, archaic DSL in
one call! I had both and they are awful.

Good Day

Unfortunately you will be billed since the equipment was not returned.
Verizon uses UPS not the USPS so technically you did not return the
equipment. You should see if the post office is holding the package
at one of their locations.

I'm confused. They sent you a return label for UPS or USPS? Either way
they shouldn't have sent you the install kit but you still have to do
the trace as the sender. If it was a prepaid label for USPS contact
the post office to trace it but if it was a UPS label that you dropped
in the postal box than unfortunately if the post office can't find,
your gonna have to pay for your mistake.
