OVER CHARGES ON MY BILL

I noticed charges on my bill for Verizon Bradband essentials for $7.99 and Verizon Broadband Extras for $4.99. I assumed the charges were new charges and I called and was told I downloaded these extras in february 2007. As the holder of this account I never downloaded anything. I was told Verizon would only credit me for 4 months of the charges. Ms. Everett I spoke to stated I did download the charges. I couldn't get any assistance from her. I would like for Verizon to prove I downloaded these charges.

I would like for Verizon to credit me for the full twelve months of chargss.

12 months??

I mean, a few months, sure, i can see that happening, and it is more
then reasonable, but a whole YEAR? I think they are being very
generous by offering a partial credit.

I think Verizon is being very generous by offering 4 months credit,
and as a Verizon user who reads my bills, get's on the horn to dispute
or clarify charges, and pays my bills on time, I'm offended.

I would like Verizon to credit all users our fair portion of these
"bones" they toss to keep people happy.

OK, I'm joking, but it shows how silly this whole idea is.

You should have called immediately to get this straightened out. It
will be a little odd for someone to believe you haven't used these
services after being billed for a year.

I agree with RHWG, you need to review your bill each month. I don't
know of any carrier who will credit indefinitely, most limit it to 4-6
months.

Sorry, but this is exactly why you need to look over your bill each
and every month.
