so far, a total disaster.

1. Signed up for double freedom of 3 Mbit DSL and unlimited countrywide phone. Great deal offered with several months free. For comparison, current offer is a free notebook.
2. Received startup package. No modem.
3. Had to convince billing I did not get a modem
4. Three days later, received modem.
5. Did set up and was told I received the wrong modem.
6. Enabled wireless modem, as wired modem.
7. Download 1.5 Mbit not 3 Mbit.
8. From onset, severe noise on phone line.
9. Went through morass to get to tech, complaining of noise and was told that tech would visit my site the next morning.
10. Tech showed up one day later and went from five filters to determine one "Passable", rejecting all others.
11. Terrible interference on phone line continued.
12. Told billing handles filters and requested better filter.
13. Billing told me "want a better filter? Go buy one."
14. Continued trouble on phone line and tech finally decided the problem was the modem.
15. Tech ordered rush of new modem.
16. Rush modem received five days later.
17. Wrong modem received. Again, wireless laptop modem not Westell 6100.
18. Call billing to get the right modem.
19. Billings said charge to get new modem was $39.I categorically refused to pay that charge.
20.Verizon monthly bill arrived for $126!
21. Called and inquired as to where was missing deal and was told my deal sheet only offered a $5/mo credit.
22. This five dollar credit was never even mentioned to me when I signed up.
23.given the many mailings and offers that Verizon has sent to me, I would never have accepted that dismal offer.
24. Totally dissatisfied with entire service so far.

GETTING to tech support is monstrous and time wasting and your website states "at this time unavailable".

I demand complete dismissal of the current bill and further consideration. As I have yet to get the service for which I signed.

My company builds my time at $125 an hour. And I have spent a minimum of 13 hours trying to get your dubious service in place.

There are alternate paths available to a consumer

The free notebook offer is for FiOS, not DSL. It sounds like you have
an open on your copper phone line that needs to be fixed. If it's at
the pole, they can put you on another pair.
