When I lived in Oakland, NJ I was one of the very first FIOS customers in the area. I was the on the waiting list for service, and signed up immediately for service. I greatly enjoyed my FIOS service, and used it from the moment it was available until I moved to Pennsylvania.

I attempted to connect a home phone service at a new residence in 2008. I submitted thru their website (no one ever came to install or called me to confirm it was completed) I just plugged the phone in and day after day checked for a dial tone, none was ever heard so I assumed it was never set up. We are long-time customers of Verizon. I have had a Verizon cell phone since 2003, and I have been a Fios customer for TV, Internet and Phone since 2006 when I first moved out on my own. I am disappointed that Verizon advertises the "Free DVR for Life" but when an existing customer calls to request this discount, even a customer spending $300/month total on services and who has been a customer...

Performance issues with new update to FIOS |

Verizon recently updated their FIOS software and I have had to call in 3 times for them to reset the set top boxes. The problems range from Program Guide not showing to Scheduled DVR recordings not showing all of the scheduled recordings.
Reduce my bill by 20% until they solve these performance issues. This is an annoying service and does not warrant premium pricing.
