I am a new subscriber to V.W.I have 4 phones on my account.I,and my daughter, selected the k1m phone,in Fire. When we received the phones,we could not activate mine.It turned out that BOTH of these phones had the same serial number, something my V.W rep had never heard of.Trip one to a v.w store for me,to turn in my phone and get another.I was given a refurbished model,as that was all they had,but I was told all was good. The first 30 days of my contract are up,and I'm locked into the contract.Suddenly,my k1m starts exhibiting strange behavior. All incoming calls are "missed" and the missed log says they are all calls from oct 07 !! I can't make calls with speed dial, everytime I try,I get "call failed" message.I can't delete old calls,I get "Erase failed " message.Second trip to v.w.store,clerk did a master reset and a flash something, and assured me that all my problems were over.Forward a week,to this week.My phone malfunctions,in the same way, again.I call v.w c.s,and am told that there is nothing they can do at this point, the phone has known issues, and the only recourse I have now is to swap it for an LG8700 phone.I need a phone every day,I cannot wait however many days it takes for v.w to send me one.Off to the local v.w store AGAIN,and am told sorry, they won't do that.In calling around,I find a v.w store 45 minutes from my home. That night,we went 45 min.one way, waited half an hour for the swap, and 45 min.home.I am BEYOND pissed at this point, the phone is butt ugly, and NOT what I wanted at all.I was never offered an amount off of another phone,or any other consideration to get a phone I'd enjoy using. Now,here's the kick....remember I told you,I am only a month and a half into a new contract, and am stuck with a phone I abhor? Well,NOW I have to go buy the bluetooth and car charger all over again,as the ones that are used for the motorola k1m are NOT compatible with the LG8700.Can you DIG how much money I'm out?The v.w tech I spoke to told me there were many issues with this phone,-then why was it sold to me in the first place? And after THAT mistake was made,WHY didn't v.s c.s try to make me whole, bring me back to where I was before their phone malfunctioned?I feel like I got caught in a bait and switch.
I can't see going thru all this crap, and getting another phone again.I feel v.w should put me back where I was before this crap started.I expect them to buy me a bluetooth and a car charger for this LG8700.I'd be happy to send them the bluetooth and the car charger I have for the k1m. I'll keep ugly phone,it will be a constant reminder not to believe everything you see in commercials.AND..I would like a "You know what,Gail? We are really sorry, and will work to make sure that customers who experience equipment failure,as you did...thru no fault of their own...are given more options than you got.We will stand behind the equipment we sell to our customers. And sorry about butt ugly phone.

VERIZON WIRELESS, OR ALTELL ARE THE MOST UP TO DATE COMPANIES, AND THE GREATEST. I WORK WITH BOTH COMPANIES. I CAN BE OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RIVER AND GET SIGNAL. BUT HEY GOOD LUCK

I received a call from Aaron F @ Verizon, who was more than helpful. He explained that the c.s people I spoke to were misinformed, that bluetooth is compatable with all cells,so I can use my already purchased one with the lg8700.He then overnighted me a new car charger for the lg8700,and a prepaid return label for the car charger for my old phone.I'm impressed with the speed of the reply, and the nice c.s I received :o) Thank You Planet Feedback nad Verizon :o)

You have a valid complaint here.
But, I agree with Harley that a more professional letter would be more likely to get you favorable results. I know you are probably pretty upset over the issue, but in a letter it is best to stick to the facts and be clear and concise about it. The letter is also a little hard to read
Butt ugly, bait and switch, crap, pissed, abrevations, and spelling and grammar errors are not professional and Verizon may not take you as seriously as you would like them to - which would lead to less favorable results.
I dont say that to insult you - I am just trying to give you feedback. I'm sure you would like the matter resolved and keeping it professional and polite is a much better way to get results.

Not that it matters, but don't buy Motorola, RZR's and KRZR's are junk. And I think the LG is a better looking phone IMHO.
If you paid for new you should have gotten a new phone. period.

You paid for a new phone. Why did you allow them to give you a refurbished one? They need to make it right.
