Alienating Your Customers

Mr. President, I see that Verizon insists on self destructing...

In this time of economical difficulty and corruption it is unwise for any business to come across as trying to screw the customer.

Once again, Verizon is trying to milk it's customers of their hard earned and shrinking cash reserves. Your move to ditch your unlimited plans and force people onto your new scheme is alienating your customers.

As for myself, I already have plans to ditch your service for another. I am no longer under the thumbscrews of your contract and I am leaving you for your competitor. They are offering me much more in services for half the price; and I do not even have to sign a contract.

I have been with you since 2002, it is no longer in my interest to stick with you. Verizon has ceased to be loyal to its customers; as such, I have no sense of loyalty or incentive to stick with you.

Drastically drop your prices and stop trying to shaft your customers. Remember, without them there is no Verizon.

People do not have to wait to the end of your contract to make a
switch, most of us have smart phones which sell for a pretty penny on
ebay/craigs list. Sell the phone and pay the ETF and move on. You
are doing what we all should do, vote with your check book.

Prices will go up over time. I don't think they're trying to shaft
anybody, I'm sure their costs have gone up so they need to charge
more. Its not greed as you make it out to be, it's business.

You are already planning to do what I would suggest - switch to a
cheaper service at the end of your contract period. Problem solved.
