Unlimited data

Hello,

I have a line in my family plan that we updgraded at promotional pricing last June. This line is unlimited data and we knew we had to get a phone before the June 28th cut off in order to keep the unlimited data.

We ordered the phone on June 21st and accecpted the terms of the contract over the phone on June 21st, the phone did not ship out till Friday June 22nd and we received the phone June 25th or 26th, the following monday or tuesday. Now due to having to get together with the person that had the line we upgraded, we got the phone activated on June 28th.

I was looking my account over and looking at the lines and noticed that the line was taken off the unlimited data and put on the 2GB plan. I have called in and reported this, the rep filed a ticket to put the unlimited data back on that line on August 8th and it was denied on August 10th.

I find this very upsetting, I accecpted the promotional pricing on the phone and accecpted the terms of the new contract on June 21st, well before the deadline and I should not have lost unlimited data. I find this unfair and bad business practice on verizon's part.

I feel Verizon should reinstate the unlimited data as I updated and accecpted the terms and conditions of the new contract well before the June 28th cutoff. There was no mention of having to activate the phone before June 28th from the rep I ordered the phone thru, or in the terms and condtions I accecpted, I activated the phone within 2 or 3 days after receiving the phone.

Thank You

Todd Peters

The day you activate the phone is the day the new contract begins.
However no matter what it depends on what the contract says in the
first place. Does it say you have unlimited or does it say you are
being moved to the 2gig plan?
