Poor employee attitude

I've gone into many VS stores and every single one of them has been a nightmare. The worst just happens to be the one in my town of Lexington, KY. The staff is unwilling to help and cold. They're also very pushy with their membership card. I wandered around the store for about half an hour and not one single employee made eye contact with me much less tried to help. They all acted very snooty, for lack of a better word. I ended up asking one employee a question and she acted like I interrupted her even though she wasn't doing anything. I love VS bras but I can't bring myself to go into the stores anymore so I tend to buy online, or not at all.
They are definitely losing customers based on the actions of the employees. They need to be more welcoming, it's a public store not some private club with a reservation list. The customers aren't imposing, it's a public place meant to attract customers. Ask if people need help, if they do then help them; if not then don't. Just please change something, I remember when I was younger I always wanted to be able to shop at Victoria's Secret and now I wonder why.

I have been an associate at Victoria's Secret for about a year and a half now and I must say NO ONE at my store is like this! I hate that these associates give a bad reputation for the rest of us! Perhaps there's another one in your area with nicer employees?
Those associates seriously need a wake up call.
And about pushing the angels card, we seriously need to. It's like a HUGE thing. It builds customer loyalty and gives great deals. It's unlike any other credit card, and people need to not get so scared when they hear 'credit card'.
The truth is, the associates that push these cards are the ones who get hours. If there is an associate who doesn't push the card, they get crap shifts and few hours. So basically, the ones who don't care about their job are the ones who don't push. (I am sure there is a better way to word that, I hope no one takes it the wrong way).
All and all, I'm on your side, OP.

I have found VS sales people, generally very young women, to be either absolutely zero help at all, or overly pushy. They need to seriously revamp their training/hiring policies.
