About a year ago a friend subscribed to vonage phone service as a gift to me since I was having problems using my cell phone in my new apartment.
My friend has paid the bill since this was a gift subscription but just recently stopped paying the bill.
I have been getting phone calls and voice mails from vonage about this bill no matter how many times I have told them I am NOT responsible...

Been a customer since Oct 2007. Things were always good. Then cable internet provider insisted they needed to change out my modem model. If you're thinking of switching, DON'T. My service with them has been a hassle from the beginning, when I decided to pay for the account set up by giving my bank routing number. I ordered a phone from them on december 24, 2008. They charged me $60 total the same day for a set-up fee. They say they have a 30day money back guarantee. I didn't get the phone until january 6. On january 15th they charged me $30 for one months phone service and took it right out of my account (she said they bill a month early before you use the phone).
