Closed Account - Harrassment

I cancelled my phone account on 2/8/08, because I moved out of my office, which is the location of the Vonage phone line. My billing cycle was for 02/15/08, so the line would be discontinued on that date and I was not to have been billed for the next month.
I have been getting e-mails that my account could not be billed and that is because I have stopped the Vonage account.
When I called this morning to complain that I was still being persistently bothered and that my account was still active, the man on the other end proceeded to argue with me and tell me that I had "allegedly" cancelled this account. When I explained to him that he could simply look at the account activity to see that the line has not been used since the date that I cancelled it, he refused.
Vonage needs to correct their error immediately and stop harrassing me for payment of an account that has been closed.
