I am furious with Vonage

I had vonage for 8 months. It never worked correctly to begin with. Any time I called for assistance, I was on hold for a hour and then went to India where they do not even speak english. I called customer service to disconnect because I went back to Qwest and I was put on hold repeatedly and then I talked to a customer service agent that told me it was 39.00 plus tax to disconnect my crappy service. This takes the cake. I have not used the vonage service more than 100 minutes total in 8 months and when I go to disconnect I am on hold for a hour and charged 42.99 to leave even though I have never missed 1 payment and have a 0 balance. I will never go back and recommend that no one else does either.
Not punish me for their crappy service by making me pay 42.99 to leave. They never cared until I left. It was very evident how cheap the service was when they sent me to India for tech support. I am furious. I want my money back.
