Regarding my vonage service and unauthorized charge

Since i started service with Vonage, I have had nothing but problems. I have complained already, and have been told that my issue has been resolved, but it has not. I still receive dropped calls, the person on the other end cant hear me. In addition, what makes me furious is that they claimed to have sent me a new device for the phone service, I never received it. A customer service rep basically in few words called me a liar, and that i received it because they shipped it. so NOW i am being charged $99.00 for a device i never received, which constitutes fraud because i never authorized that charge to my credit card. Now i am stuck with vonage for the next 7 months because of a contract.

Refund $99.00 to my credit card, which i have disputed, and will continue to dispute all the way to small claims court if i have to, and release me from the 1 year contract because i have not been able to use my phone for normal conversation in at least 3 months. Customer service is horrible, as i have been put on hold for at least 30 minutes each time i call!

I had the same problem with the other person not being able to hear
me. I finally figured out it was because my computer was busy with a
lot of tasks at the time. I still have this problem when I am doing a
lot of things and try to make a call--I have to stop the tasks on my
computer.

For everyone like me who's getting ripped off by Vonage...after 2
months of fighting with them and threatening to sue, they finally gave
me the CEO's address. Jeffrey A. Citron, CEO Vonage 2147 Route
27 Edison, New Jersey 08817. Hopefully it will help. I've
already sent my letter out to him..don't know if it will help much,
but all we can do is hope. :)

I hear ya there! Vonage is a joke. We've had the same problems as
you have...they really don't care about their customers...only money.

everyone needs to hear this... listen, if you go to www.ftc.gov, the
federal trade commission's web site, if enough of us file complaints
against them they will investigate... i have had the same problems as
most of you.
