kinda upset with wal-mart

hello, my name is kathy and i shop at the local wal-mart in creston, iowa 2 maybe 4 times a week and lately i have gotten outdated food, products that were only partly there ect, and now withno layaway makes hard for xmas, we live on a very fixed income of 700 a month, so when i get something half there or outdated i get tired of telling the co it came from over and over, when i go in wal-mart half time the help knows of what im looking for, my mother who has since passed away(15) this month was 78 and blind she got no help when she went in there to shop, im kinda upset over walmart itself, i can go to the dollar store but not have the selection that walmart has, i know it probley makes no difference to anyone but with xmas coming, limited income and outdated or half product there what would you do? thank you , kathy

I get the same amount on my paycheck every month for a year, I guess I
am on a fixed income too.

It is the stores responsibility to make sure the products are in date.

People steal from stores all the time. They steal the solution from
hair color and put a comb in their to replace the weight for example.
True, it is the stores fault, but be reasonable about the stores
ability to catch things like this that happen.

Lay away went away because people now charge things on their charge
cards. Lay away was at least an honorable venture. People today would
rather be pleased immmediately, than actually having to wait. My
parents used Layaway when I was a kid. The customers that actually
used it, along with the space needed to accomodate it, led to is
