My fiance' is a Diabetic. As a precaution, I purchased a few of your Walgreen's branded "Gluco Shot" liquid glucose bottles to keep in the house for emergencies. This morning, I actually had to use it for the first time and was dismayed to find that not only is it shrouded in a plastic seal that is not easy to remove, but it has an additional cap protector inside the lid, over the mouth of the bottle. It took ME several minutes to remove everything and I wasn't even the one who was impaired at the moment!
While I am all for tamper-resistant materials and product safety, this seemed bit overkill, especially in consideration of who would be using the product. If my fiance' had been alone in the midst of a diabetic emergency trying to get to this product, there is no way he could have manipulated the packaging.
I'm not sure what the answer is, but I would hope that you would consider who uses the products when you implement your safety measures.
