Wal-Mart Stores is an irresistible (or at least unavoidable) retail force that has yet to meet any immovable objects. Bigger than Europe's Carrefour, Tesco, and Metro AG combined, it is the world's #1 retailer, with about 6,775 stores, including some 1,075 discount stores, 2,250 combination discount and grocery stores (Wal-Mart Supercenters in the US and ASDA in the UK), and 580 warehouse stores (SAM'S CLUB). About 60% of its stores are in the US, but Wal-Mart is expanding internationally; it is the #1 retailer in Canada and Mexico. It also owns a 95% stake in Japanese retailer SEIYU. Wal-Mart also has operations in Asia, Europe, and South America. Founder Sam Walton's heirs own about 40% of Wal-Mart. |

It is absolutely ridiculous at 4PM to have 8 lanes open in which 3 are for 20 items or less and people are lined up 10 deep waiting to check out. Leave it to me to pick the line with the lady in front of me who has problems making her payment of over $300 because her card was denied. And to top it off, the poor cashier Allison has to call someone SEVEN (7) times before they show up to correct the...

On monday night, I went to the Walmart on Story Road in San Jose, CA (Store#5435) to purchase a XBOX 360. The associate in Electronics took the box out of the glass case and over to the counter to ring it up. WHen she set it down, she said "Oh, its already open. Lets check and make sure everything is there." She opened the box as another associate looked over her shoulder to make sure...

Why CONSUMER REPORT’S rate’s WMT DEAD LAST for Electronics
Current Issue
After seeing the Sharp 42” TV plastered all over Yahoo! And the Internet on Wednesday I thought to myself - that would be a great deal for a Christmas present for the kids to watch in our bonus room. Not wanting to waste a lot of time I got right on WalMart’s website that told me it was a store special. Fine. Clicked...

Just want to let the workers know at Wal-mart in Upper Sandusky, Ohio that I enjoy shopping at their store as opposed to the other Wal-marts in a 25 mile radius. The store is clean, stocked, and the workers are courteous. Keep up the good work!

If this is a state law then how come I can return opened software, dvds, etc. to other area stores in the same STATE.
Just return my money for this software it is of no...
