on january 29, 2008 my friends and i went to the walmart in white plains ny. there were signs all over the parking garage that if you spend $5.00 (up from the previous $3.00 sign last year) you would get free parking. when we checked out and went to leave the attentant said we owed $5.00 since we stayed over 3 hours !!!!! there were no signs stating a time limit. besides we were not even there that long. we left shortly after 2PM, and the attendant said our sticker said we arrived at 10:58 am. which is not possible. my friends drove me to a focus group at 3 gannett drive also in white plains, which was from 10am to 11pm. by the time we left that parking lot and got to the walmart it had to be well after 11 am. not the so called 1058 on the ticket. among the 3 of us we spent well over $200.00 and were not happy with having to pay a parking fee after such purchase and we did spend over $5.00 which was posted. if we go back it will be to return some of our purchases not to make more. you need to fix your signs and your machines.

fix your signs, fix your machines. we were not happy with our shopping experience and as stated if we go back will be for returns not new purchases. i would definitly like to get our $5.00 parking fee returned and if walmart feels they need to do something else to satisfy thier customers, let them do so. i just look for what i feel was unfair.

if it's affilliated with walmart, why not ask for the attendant's
manager while you were there/ 9 i'm lazy tonight and not using my
shift key0 if you're paying the full price for parking and it's
wrong, then it's certainly worth asking for a manager at the time of
the incident.

If the clock was wrong when you arrived, and it was not corrected by
the time you left, you still stayed longer than 3 hours.

They have a three hour time limit to prevent people from abusing the
privilege and going other places than WalMart. How can you spend 3
hours in WalMart?

I find it hard to believe that the three hour time limit was not
posted somewhere. Parking garages usually have very clear policies.
