We, my son and his family and I were heading on a trip to Ohio from N.C.to get me there for my sister as she went into surgery;and it seemed everything was going all wrong. While filling the car with gas, my son realized that with the ice and snow up there, his tires wouldn't make it. He needed to get 2 tires for the back. And we needed them quickly to get on the road. We went to one Walmart on our way out of town and they said it would take 2 and a half hours to get done, so my son called the one in Statesville, the next one up from us, headed north. They said they could get it done in an hour. So, we headed there. As we got out, my daughter in law dropped her insulin bottle and it broke, the only one she had brought. So, while we dropped the car in back for tires, she went to pharmacy to see if she could get insulin even tho script was at cvs. The pharmacist was most kind and went right to work to get it switched over and get her some insulin, and took into consideration we were trying to get out of town and on our way. The gentleman putting on the tires also took consideration of the fact and worked extra hard and had them done in 35 min.
We just appreciate both of them going out of their way to help us out in a time of need.
